“Geleceğimi Çöpe Atma!” projesi, Sivil Toplum Destek Programı Üçüncü Dönemi kapsamında desteklenmektedir. Bu kapsamda proje kapsamında düzenlenen ilk “İklim İçin Eğitim” Çalışma Ekibi toplantımız 11 Haziran 2021 Cuma günü Derneğimiz tarafından kullanılan Uçan Balon Spor Tesislerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Proje kapsamında “İklim için Eğitim Çalışma Ekibi” kurulması öngörülmektedir. Bu ekibin temel amacı, 11-18 yaş grubu için uygulanabilir bir çevre ve iklim değişikliği eğitim müfredatı hazırlamaktır. Çalışma Ekibinin Adana’da sivil toplumun farklı alanlarında faaliyet gösteren kuruluşların yanı sıra eğitim sektörü, iş çevreleri, yerel yönetimler ve ilgili kamu kurumlarından katılımcılardan oluşması bekleniyor.

Proje koordinatörü Çiğdem Aksu Çam, sivil toplum kuruluşları, akademisyenler, eğitim sektörü ve ilgili kamu kurumlarından otuzu aşkın katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilen ilk Çalışma Ekibi toplantısında proje hakkında bilgi verdi. Daha sonra Çalışma Ekibi katılımcıları kendilerini tanıtarak proje faaliyetlerine ve hedeflerine nasıl katkıda bulunabilecekleri konusunda fikirlerini sundular. Bu ekip, proje kapsamında oluşturulan sivil toplum ağının çekirdeğini oluşturacaktır. Sonunda Çalışma Ekibinin çalışma yöntemi hakkında çeşitli öneriler alındı. Çalışma Ekibinin bir sonraki toplantısında, çevre ve iklim değişikliği konularında işbirliği içinde çalışmaya istekli olduğunu bildiren bir Mutabakat Metni açılması planlanmaktadır.

“Do not Dispose My Future!” project is supported within the Third Term of the Civil Society Support Program. In this context, our first “Education for Climate Cross-Sectoral Task Force Team” meeting, organized within the scope of the project, was held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Flying Balloon Sports Facilities used by our Association.

Within the scope of the project, it is envisaged to establish the “Education for Climate Cross-Sectoral Task Force” Team. The main purpose of this team is to prepare an appliable environment and climate change educational curriculum for the 11-18 age group. The prospect that the Taske Force Team will consist of organizations active in different areas of civil society in Adana, as well as participants from the education sector, business circles, local administrations, and relevant public institutions.

Project coordinator Çiğdem Aksu Çam gave information about the project in the first Task Force Team meeting, which was held with more than thirty participants from non-governmental organizations, academics, the education sector, and related public institutions. Afterward, the participants of the Task Force Team introduced themselves and presented their ideas on how they could contribute to the project activities and its objectives. This team will form the core of the civil society network which is formed within the scope of the project. In the end, various suggestions were received about the working method of the Study Team. At the next meeting of the Taske Force Team, it is planned to open a Memorandum of Understanding declaring its willingness to work cooperatively on environmental and climate change issues.
